Fulfilling a Return?
Guardian Bikes often asks customers to donate bikes locally for refunds due to wrong sizing, color preference, or shipping damage. We provide the official 501(c)(3) tax receipt required to trigger your refund.
Outgrown Your Bike?
Guardian’s SureStop technology makes these the most requested bikes for our youth programs. Donate your used bike to give a local child the gift of a safe, high-quality ride while clearing your garage space.
How to Complete Your Guardian Return
Follow these steps to ensure your refund is processed smoothly:
- Authorize the Return: Contact Guardian Bikes support to confirm they have authorized a local donation.
- Drop Off at Live in Peace Bike Shop or our partner shops: Bring the bike to our shop during business hours. No original box or shipping labels required.
- Instant Documentation: We will provide an official donation receipt electronically with the date and bike details on the spot.
- Email Guardian: Simply forward our receipt via email to Guardian Support. They typically process refunds within 3-5 business days.

The Live in Peace nonprofit bike shop is at 2524 Pulgas Ave in East Palo Alto (map here), just a few pedal strokes from the beautiful Bay Trail! Our shop faces the back of the building, so turn down off Pulgas on the side of our building, and we’re at the back. You may park just past our front door to unload.
We’re open Mon, Tues, Thurs 10am-5pm, and Fri-Sat 10am-4pm.
